Key Account Manager (Industrial Psychologist) (Cape Town)

There is currently a vacancy for a position with JvR Consulting Psychologists (JvRC) in Cape Town.

The main focus of the role will require the individual to:

  • Administer assessments and write integrated assessment reports
  • Provide assessment feedback at all levels in an organisation
  • Compile proposals and quotes for clients
  • Cross sell JvRC skills training and other consulting services

The ideal candidate:

  • Must be registered with the HPCSA in the category of Psychologist (Industrial Psychologist)
  • Must have 2-3 years technical experience in the integration of psychological information
  • Must be client-orientated with an understanding of the importance of client relationships
  • Must be able to take initiative and be pro-active
  • Should have strong business acumen
  • Must be proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Should be trained in the following assessments:
    • EQ-I
    • CPP
    • Full Hogan Suite

Vacancy: Team Leader (Shared Services) (Johannesburg)

The role will require the individual to:

  • Manage the professional and administrative staff of the assessment team (Shared Services) in the Psychological Assessment Unit
  • Manage company risk through the implementation of appropriate business and professional systems and procedures
  • Be involved in contract negotiations with suppliers and contractors
  • Plan the daily workload by checking and confirming resource availability and implementing a schedule process to maximize people productivity and utilisation
  • Ensure compliance to procedures and standards of service
  • Participate in all continuous improvement initiatives – monitoring performance and process
  • Participate in annual performance reviews, ensuring skills transfer through training and mentoring of team
 

The ideal candidate:

  • Must be registered with the HPCSA in the category of Psychometrist (Independent Practice) or I/O Psychologist
  • Must have minimum 2 years post-registration technical experience as a Psychometrist/Psychologist, preferably as a key account manager in an assessment centre context.
  • Must have line management experience
  • Must have strong business acumen
  • Must have strong planning and organizing skills
  • Must have project management experience
  • Must be a good negotiator
  • Must have a people-oriented and pro-active approach
  • Must be proficient with the MS Office suite and have advanced training/skills in Excel as well as other programming systems

Contract: Full-time employment
Location: Randburg, JHB (with occasional travel to local clients)
Own transport essential

  • Write integrated assessment reports
  • Provide line and senior management feedbacks

The ideal candidate:

  • Must be registered with the HPCSA in the category of Psychologist (Industrial Psychologist)
  • Must have at least 2 – 3 years technical experience
  • Must be client-orientated with an understanding of the importance of client relationships
  • Must be able to take initiative and be pro-active
  • Should have strong business acumen
  • Must be proficient with MS Office Suite
